From Back Gardens to Major Contracts
I founded Fencedeck back in 2007 as a local company in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. At first, I took on just small jobs erecting fences and laying decking for home-owners in and around the town.
I’m a bit of a perfectionist – a trait I bring to my work – so I’m pleased to say that I quickly gained a reputation for excellence and people started recommending me to their friends and family.
Before I knew it I was running a very busy operation, growing in size, scope and popularity. I enjoyed (and always will) the many domestic fencing and decking jobs that were pouring in from the local Wiltshire and Bath area, but I also began to be offered large commercial, industrial and agricultural fencing projects further afield – even as far away as Scotland.
Word has spread nation-wide in fact that when you need top quality customised fencing supplied and professionally installed at a competitive price, Fencedeck will get the job done.
Over the years Fencedeck has put up literally hundreds of miles of fencing (one recent contract involved 2.5 miles fencing in a solar farm in Devon).
I’ve installed fencing to safeguard a lot of schools – John O’Gaunt School in Trowbridge, Staverton Primary School, Bellefield Primary and Castle Mead School in Trowbridge to name but a few. Other memorable contracts I’ve completed include working on a property development providing fencing for 140 houses in Calne, and I worked long-term with Crossman Homes of Bath.
On the industrial front I’ve securely fenced in numerous construction sites, warehouses, factories, and solar farms, and out in the countryside I’m often called on for fencing stock pens, paddocks and other enclosures.
I don’t shy away from a challenge – whether its fencing or decking, I’ll make it fit and function no matter how awkward the situation is.
I’m extremely proud of the fact that I never have to tout for work. Most of my clients come back to me time and again when they need fencing or decking work done, and they pass on my details to anyone they know who needs my skills.
I find my work very satisfying – it is a good feeling to provide a first-class service that improves people’s security, enhances the look of their grounds, and increases the value of their property as a whole.
As an aside – by popular demand I have also now started supplying and installing very sturdy, attractive garden sheds and summerhouses, built in various shapes and sizes.
